This is an important peak in Colorado and many points were missed on this page, but the description of the main trail was excellent so I will give it a weak four star's.

Pikes Peak? Never heard of it. Must be out there on the eastern plains or something.

Good information. I like the web cam for checking conditions in the Springs. Is there some reason that nobody has added the Barr Trail route to this page? (other than it's too obvious, maybe?)

Thanks for your recent vote on my Pikes Peak page. I have added a bit of information on Barr trail under the getting there section, but as you say, it is a rather obvious trail, so I didnt want to make a simple trail sound complicated. Happy Climbing!

Nice page! Perhaps some bolds or italics could improve the page.

Thanks for the kind vote. Yes, it would be nice toadd italics or bold... but I am not too knowledgeable on using HTML. Do you recommend an HTML tutor page or can you just tell me how to add italics and bold? Thanks!

I usually use this thread for learning HTML, you have the answer about bold and italics in the Bob Burd's first message. There you have some links to HTML tutorials.

Nice page! I'm wondering if anyone will add a new route for a snow climb from Bottomless Pit like the Railroad Couloir or the Y Couloir?

Hey there,

I'm actually climbing the Y tomorrow. I was going to hit it today, but I'm planning on using the road, so the high winds surely closed the highway to above-treeline traffic. Tomorrow looks great - low temps tonight and no wind tomorrow.

I'll probably throw something together on Wed. for the route, time permitting. Keep an eye out.
