This is really in The Napa Valley?  Sucess!

Very worth while hike. The first 4 miles or so is a walk up but better than most. Some great climbs for the 5.0+ guys, when you get to the Palisades! There is a class 3 route to the right when you see the "Napa Land Grant" sign or at the "Holm" homestead, go up from there and easy class 2. Bay Area, this is a destination for a day trip.

Views, rock formations fantastic!  Sucess!

Fun car shuttle hike from Mount St. Helena trailhead to Oat Hill Mine Road. Table rock nice spot for snacks & exploration. Good Italian restaurant very nearby serves good pizza and beer on tap. Photos here: http://www.meetup.com/Wildcat-Adventure-Club/photos/484194/

Went part way

to one of the high points but not the highest. No pot goons on this hot summer day.

Way back when  Sucess!

Climbed the eastern highpoint while backpacking with my Boy Scout troop sometime back in the early 90's. We were trying to backpack from Calistoga to Middletown, but were turned away by armed pot farmers and had to hoof it all the way out to Pope Valley. Yeah...quite a trip.
