Panorama looking east over Geraldine Lakes and into the heart of the Sierra Nevada. October 24, 2009 The Obelisk is the large dome above upper Geraldine Lake. Tehipite Valley and the Middle Fork of the Kings River cut through the center of the photo. Kettle Dome is the bare rock below the horizon to the left of Tehipite Valley. Prominent peaks on the horizon include Mount Goddard and the Palisades. Split Mountain is visible at the end of Tehipite Valley.

Thank you! Tehipite Valley is definitely wilderness. I'd love to spend 10 days there like you did sometime...
