Two nights in Cajas
We started on the west side of the park and took the Osohuaycu trail all the way to the Inca trail. We exited at the Llaviuco checkpoint. We slept without tents under some rock shelters, one next to Laguna Osohuayco, the other next to Laguna Taitachuga. The first day we had very clear weather that only happens a couple times a year in Ecuador. The next day was more typical, with overcast clouds and a little rain. The Inca trail is very muddy. I could spend weeks in Cajas. It's an incredible place.
