Finally
Finally made it up to Paternkofel. Climbed the Tunnel Route to Gamsscharte, then up the summit schoulder. Luckkily I was one of the first on the top. Upon descending to Gamsscharte a whole busload of people appeared. Returned via Ferrata de Luca along the east ridge of the mountain and met up with Judith in Büllelejoch. She had hiked to mittlere Oberbachernspitze while I was on Paternkofel.

Amazing peak and ferrata!!!!!
It was a wonderful day making the tour of Trei Cime de Lavaredo climbing Paterno across via ferrata Innerkofel (from Refugi Locatelli) descending to South to col di Passaporto. We liked it so much.

Nice weather, great views en route and from the top. Surprisingly few people on the route and on the summit compared to more recent logs. You have to bring a torch for this route too, as there is a short low tunnel stretch at the beginning.

Route climbed: Via Ferrata from Dreizinnen hut and down over the south approach. Nice ferrata but too many crowds. This is the only bad thing.
