Whenever I have climbed Mt. Wolverine from Brighton I have crossed over Patsy Marley. In addition, a Brighton Ridge Run in either direction usually includes this peak. 12-27-11 Part of snowy Brighton Bowl Ridge run Guardsman to Twin Lakes Pass. #? 15? 3-13-14 W/ ZeeJay en route to Wolverine from Grizzly Gulch. 1+20 on SS. #16 8-23-14 en route to Wolverine. First few inches of snow of the upcoming season. #17 09-02-19 (Labor Day) W/ Yz. Last peak of the Brighton Ridge Run started from (Mary's Lake trail) Clayton Peak and around the old horn. Very warm day.
I have climbed this one many times on my way to Wolverine.
I prefer to call this Marley since no one can figure out what to name it exactly. I went up Grizzly Gulch to Twin Lakes Pass and followed the ridge from there.
Did a loop starting from Brighton to Catherine's Pass, going over Tuscarora, Wolverine, Patsy Marley, and Honeycomb Cliffs.
Did this via:
July 21, 2004 - Brighton Ridge Run
Summer 2006 - Alta Ridge Run
Been up here to ski a few times, never disappoints.
No idea what dates, but I've probably been on top of this one 10 times.
Cloudy summit on skis.
early-morning ski tour before work, up to Patsey Marley via the NW ridge, dropped in Wolverine Cirque, traversed to Twin Lakes Pass, then down Grizzly Gulch.
Update: skied off or over it three more times in 2010-2011 season.
I ski it on a regular basis.
Add this to my favorite Marley list.
Nice to have the snowfields for a quick cool descent. Great views in all directions despite some haze from the California fires.
Went over this "bump" back in June 2001. I can't remember the exact date though.
Love this area.
I guess I've been over this bump a few times, but it's definately not a peak, but more a bump on a ridge.
Dec 3, 2016 - Skinned up in 1 hour 20 mins via the wolverine cirque ridge. Snow was nice and light as it was cold, but you had to ski light and watch out for rocks. Did a lap on Michigan City (? - west side of Honey Comb cliffs) as well.
Dec 19, 2015 - Ski Tour with Brad M.
March 19, 2015 - Pat M and I ski toured around the Wolverine Cirque, crossing three mountain peaks en route namely Patsy Marley, Mt. Wolverine, and Mt Tuscarora. From Tuscarora we skied down to Alta.
March 2, 2015 - Pat M and I skied north off Patsy peak, and then did a lap on the west side of the Honey Comb Cliffs (Michigan City?)
April 20, 2013 - Skied north off Patsy peak, and then did a lap on the west side of the Honey Comb Cliffs (Michigan City?), and a third of the Patsy ridge at it's west end.
March 23, 2013 - Skinned up planning to ski the Main Chute into Wolverine Cirque but the cirque was to avy prone, see we skied north off Patsy peak, and then did a lap on the west side of the Honey Comb Cliffs (Michigan City?), and a third of the Patsy ridge at it's west end.
March 16, 2013 - Skinned up then skied into Wolverine Cirque via the Granny Chute.
Dec 8, 2012 - Skinned up and skied three laps.
April 18, 2009 -- Summited this peak twice this day as we were skiing laps in the area.
On March 29, 2008 -- I did a solo backcountry ski tour over the Wolverine Cirque, crossing three mountian peaks enroute namely Patsy Marley, Mt. Wolverine, and Mt Tuscarora. From Tuscarora I skied down to Alta.
