one of the rare
beautiful days in june 2012 saw us on the top of this nice mountain - we did the Collado Pandebano - Canal de las Monas route. The views were great, we even saw Santander far in the northeast!

Route Climbed: Col Pandebano-Canal de las Moñas Date Climbed: 11th october 2004
Hard day with fog, wind and a little of snow in the summit but great view of the mythical Picu Urriellu in some moments. Peña Castil is a nice peak and Picos de Europa are a great place for climbing mountains and I wish to return the next year with a little more of luck in the weather.
