Pea Soup Lake

The combination of steep surrounding granitic (?) rock, a deep blue hue and ice floating even in August make this one of the prettiest lakes I've seen.

Blue?

I remember that lake looking green when I was there. A very nice shot.

I would call it a blue or a turquoise. Perhaps recession of the glacier and sediments flowing into it has changed the color?
