With Rachael. Climbed up the east face via a break in the cliffs from the Colorado Trail from Little Molas Lake. Combined with V7 (13042) and then back down to the Colorado Trail for a nice loop.

Peak 12764 ft
After 5 days of hiking in the San Juans was looking for an easy peak. On the map, it appeared like this would be easy. Once I saw the peak, the band of cliffs made it look impossible but fortunately the grassy slope allowed me to find a route to the top. Pretty peak.

3 peak loopAfter Bear via NE ridge, crossed over to 13,042 = V 7, and then over to 12,764. The hike down into Putnam basin was beautiful.
