Wild Cherry Loop  Sucess!

Loop hike starting with PT 12860 B and traversing PT 13122, PT 13490, Owen and then finishing with lowly PT 10955 at the end of the ridge. A fun knife ridge between PT 12860 B and PT 13122!

From Cotton Creek  Sucess!

Climbed while on a backpacking trip into Cotton Creek. Great trail up to the saddle that drops into Rito Alto Creek. Sporting ridge to the summit. About 1000 feet with some easy Class 3 scrambling. Descended the same route and climbed 13,513 and Mt Marcy on the other side. Lots of elk.

from 13122 via Wild Cherry Creek TH  Sucess!

Combined Owen with 12860B, 13122, 13490, and 10995 for a long 7K+ vertical day. Only a couple inches of snow to deal with. Check out the catwalk on 12860's s.e. ridge! See TR.

Route Climbed: Cherry Lake Date Climbed: October 4, 2004  Sucess!

Climbed these two peaks with Jon, Sopris, and Raymond. My first trip to the area. Aspen trees were in full riot down low and a bit of snow up high. Some good, but optional, exposure on the northern aspects of these peaks. Big thanks to Jon for putting this idea forward.
