Point 13078  Sucess!

Easy beautiful walkup from Timber Gulch Trail. The ridge from 13078 to 13317 was full of talus, tough and 3 1/2 hours long.

Poplar Gulch  Sucess!

Probably could've been done in trail runners and microspikes today. The ridge to Pt 13,317 looked easy enough, but I went the other way and added Pt 12,837 instead.

Gorgeous!  Sucess!

They moved the trailhead so you have to go 1/4 mile up the 4WD tin cup pass road. Camped at TH, lovely day and scenery, trail all the way to the top. GPS said 8.5 miles round trip.

Loop  Sucess!

With the pup. Started west of Cottonwood Campground, ascended the northwest ridge of UN13626. Then followed the ridge west to UN13317 and UN13078. Descended Poplar Gulch trail and then down the road to the car.

Poplar Gulch  Sucess!

PT 13078, PT 13317 and PT 12837 from Poplar Gulch Trail, a nice early season climb that was snow free. Gotta love the south facing slopes in early June!

Peak 13078 ft  Sucess!

I thought this might be somewhat of a crowded trail but I did not see a single person all day long. Very beautiful and peaceful.
