Overview

Rincon Peak or Peak 8304

Getting There

Park at the Pedra Lisa Trailhead which can be accessed of Tramway Rd from I-25.

Route

Starting at the Pedra Lisa Trailhead hike up the trail approximately 2 miles to where the trail hits the Rincon Spur Trail. There is an unmarked trail that leads up to the northeast. Follow the trail 0.8 miles to the base of Rincon Peak. There are several cairns along the way but no blazes. The trail mostly follows washouts. The remaining 0.2 miles are pretty steeply uphill with a hundred feet or so of scrambling. 

Red Tape

Parking is free a the Pedra Lisa Trailhead.

When to Climb

Best climbed in the Spring or Fall. In the summer start early to avoid high temperatures in the afternoon.

Camping

No campsites in the area. But Dispresed camping is allowed
