Aggipah MountainNice shot. The peak in the center is Aggipah Mountain, with Peak 9743' way off in the back left. That's some wild country up in there, with heavy duty bushwhacking from lake #2 on up to lake #3 (8395').

It is 9743It is rugged country. Perhaps the lush grouseberry carpets made the loghopping a bit easier. The mountain in the center of my photo is 9743. Aggipah is less sharp and a bit flat topped. This link has a picture of both summits, with Aggipah on the right:

Re: It is 9743Ah, you are correct sir. I think I must have mis-identified that peak during our trip, but now that I look at the topo, I see that you are right.
What a beautiful area. Your photos make me want to go back there again, but then I remember the drive...

The driveI remember the drive as being horrible from my first trip to the Crags, but last August the road was in nice shape even for an old Nissan four door sedan. Maybe we got lucky?

Driving to the CragsI'll never forget riding with my brother-in-law to the trailhead. He is a very cautious driver and the trip took him 9 hours from the Idaho Falls area. You want to take a vehicle that can withstand some punishment if you don't want the drive to take forever! :-)
