Fabulous job! Recent route pics are perfect! Done with my encouragement, compliments and blessings. Thanks so much for giving SP this fantastic mountain. Be sure to link to Mount Powell, which is right next door!
Nice job! I think there have been a lot of us here at SP axiously waiting for somebody to submit this mountain.
And that somebody wasn't me! That's what I get for hanging around in the San Juans! Oh well, I encouraged Barry to submit this mountain in our many email discussions. The sooner the better. Sorry we couldn't hook up to climb it.
Very good route info and excellent photos. Your pages seem to be getting better and better. I really enjoyed this one.
Very well done. Looks like a great mountain!
Excellent. I agree with Kane on your mountain pages.......bettter and better. This peak looks interesting with the "low class 5" route. Thanks for submitting.
Damn timberman, you've seen more of Colorado than I have, and I'm lucky enough to live here. This in an inspiring page. Thanks.
Nice page. I hiked much in the Gores and climbed a few peaks, but not this one.
Nope, havn't climbed it.
Great page. The recent updates have realy added a new dimension to the page. Thanks.
I agree with the others' comments - great page.
What happened to the rest of the content that used to be on this page (Getting There, etc.)?
It seems like a lot of good info has disapeared.
Sarah- The page was cleared out when the previous owner was involuntarily deleted from SP. Can't blame him, really, its his work and I understand. I just adopted the page today and will be re-writing it, hopefully it is in good hands. Thanks for your patience!
Mike: Sweet, I know this page will be taken good care of. Thanks for taking this on. Personally, I donate my content to SP and don't care what happens to it after I leave, but - that's my take.
Anyhow...knock 'em dead on the new/rebuilt page!
Updated and ready for use! Enjoy!
Mike: You rock the house. Thanks for taking on the re-design / re-contribution of this page! -Sarah
Goes at 5.4. A chossy short chimney (after bypassing the little point near the saddle to the west)>traverse left on ledges>climb a friction pitch up and right>turn the corner left>easy scrambling to a 5.4 mantle. Scramble up to the summit. I think Furthermore has a page over on MP. I'd be interested to know what the prominent crack in the center of the North Face goes at.
Added this for North routes after correspondence from Cam Burns. Still plenty of lines that have probably seen ascents.
Thanks! I added a link to your photo on the routes part of the page. Looks fun!
