Também, a travessia mais conhecida do Brasil no exterior!

Route: Standard from Teresópolis
Climbed with Marcus A.C. Torres on a beautiful, sunny but still cool day. Started at Parque Nacional Serra dos Órgãos (Sede Teresópolis) at 10 am, arrived at summit at 1.30 pm. Marcus twisted his left knee on ascent, thus descent took us 4 hours until after 6 pm. The darkness in the forest made things much more difficult, but fortunately we found some other hikers with lights. 18 km roundtrip, 1710 m total altitude difference.

Strong and cold wind
Using "abrigo 4" as a base, we hiked up the mountain with Marcelo in harsh weather. View to the distant Guanabra Bay (Rio de Janeiro) was open for some time.
