Returning again
This time as part of a round-trip (Gentiana hut - Peleaga - Papusa - Portile Inchise - Valea Rea - Gentiana). Cloudy weather, but no rain - perfect for avoiding getting sunburnt. A little distraction lead to literally falling on my face while descending the NE ridge, but apart from scaring the other hikers, it was okay. In a nutshell, my advice is: enjoy the view, but don't forget to care for your steps! :)

We were going for the circuit: Peleaga, Papusa, Portile Inchise, Lake Galesu, Valea Rea and again Peleaga then descending to the Bucura lake at the camp.

Pearl of carpathians2 times both from Pietrele, second time was in august 2007 after we climbed a route from Bucura II wall and we descend from Peleaga on Valea Rea.
