Heavy snow in early May this year. Fun snow climb!
Started in the morning before the temps rose which allowed me to stay on top of the snow. Post-holing has been bad this week in other parts of the range. Had Kahtoola spikes and was glad for them on the descent.

Three TimesI first climbed Pepper Peak in May 1988 via East Twin Pass with Dan Brokaw and Hans Schmidt.
I returned on April 15, 2006, and climbed the southwest ridge solo, descending the east ridge.
I returned again on March 24, 2007, and climbed the southwest ridge with Mark Kimerer.
