Embroidered ice ridges fringed with pure white frames, bright walls in shape of organ pipes, "quebradas" dotted with turquoise lagoons, unforgettable mountains, silhouetted against the bright sublime transparency of the heavens: the Cordillera Blanca is fascinating and offers itself as a wonderful playground for climbs of all difficulties.

Re: Oh, Silvia!

Welcome Sarah, thanks. i'm just coming back from Aosta Valley. Unfortunately there was a great accident on Mont Blanc-Mont Maudit 15 days ago! That day i was climbing in Chamonix on Aiguilles Rouges in the opposite side of Mont Blanc.
Cheers.
