Honoured the summit of the Petit Combin with an obligatory visit after climbing the South Ridge of the Combin the Corbassière. Great views up there!

Central North Ridge and traverse towards Combin de Corbassière
Climbed the north ridge (Zentraler Nordpfeiler) from a bivy at the parking near the Brunet hut. A great ridge with a very fine ice slope at the end. On our descent we climbed the Combin de Corbassière and then continued glacier de Corbassière and back to the Brunet hut. A beautiful traverse with a very long descent!

Route Climbed: South flank
Skid up from the Cabane de Panossière. Continued to Combin de Corbassière and skid back the Corbassière glacier to the hut.
Nice acclimatization tour for the Grand Combin.
