Awesome first real experience in the Alps. Had attempted many other climbs in the months leading up to this but were always sent running due to horrible weather or poor snow conditions. Tons of variety and plenty of places to practice your skills.

Easy climb done one time solo and another time with a friend. We used the crampons although there was not too much ice left. I loved the views from that summit. It was sunny! I got to be so close to the Drus mountain. August 2013 and August 2014.
Made the mistake of getting up late, missed the first car up, place was crowded with guides dragging people up. Myself and my partner were too polite and shy to make much headway, had fun on the Bergschrund though, nice little bit of ice!
We hung around most of the day, making progress when we could. Abseiled off some interesting stuff to get down to the station fast, lesson learned, get up early!

Training/acclimatisation Peak
Easy day to get back into moving together on alpine terrain. Crowded route when descending meeting lots of people on the way up, despite getting first telepherique of the day(7-30 am) North West ridge Route, PD- Bergschrund no problem at crossing point this early in season a little wider at left side of the NNW face a route i did a few years ago. This Route never dissapoints we did it in perfect weather and perfect snow conditions a nice mixed easy route with wonderful views. Back in the valley for dinner. Lots of guided parties on it.
