From White Pine TH
Climbed to the east ridge from the drainage just NE of the peak, then to the summit. Kind of a "meh" climb, but a cool-looking peak. Traversed on to the Thunders, oddly. Trip report.

Popular and with reason. A good trail and hike, though I think I prefer it in winter just to deal without the boulders. The summit is splendid. Ridge over to White Baldy is awesome to play on and for the views.

Ran Outta Daylight
My friend and I got up to the East Ridge just as the sun was setting. We got too late of a start. Definitely will try this one again. Made for an awesome snowboard ride down the face of the east ridge. It took us about 1.5 hours to ride back to our car. Super fun day!

Finally
I finally made time to get up this one. Went via Red Pine route. 2:11 to the summit. 8 min on top. car to car in 4 hours flat. Beautiful fall colors. Saw a moose couple up close and personal too!

Incredible!
This was the most technical/intense hike I had been on to date. Super awesome and a huge achievement (for me). The scrambling section was a little intense, but it was my first time on something like that. I don't want to discourage anyone, it was awesome. I'm excited for the next time we do it. Thanks to my hubs for verbally/emotionally helping me across the knife edge ridge. :)

Did this about 12 years ago with a buddy. Been aching to do it again for years now. Had a great time sharing this experience with my wife and son this go around!
9/27/09 - Hiked with some classmates to this amazing peak thru Maybird Gulch. The summit climb was cake, and the views were pure eye candy. We decided to take the standard Red Pine trail on the way back, except we lost it and ended up in another boulder field about a mile from the actual trail.
9/26/10 - via Maybird Gulch with Zack. Didn't get lost on the way down this time. One of my favorite hikes in the Wasatch.
9/25/11 - via Red Pine with Andy, as part of an autumn Beatout.

Pfeifferhorn
The hike up to red pine lake was fun until we hit snow. I really dislike hiking in snow. The rock climbing was quite fun at the top and the view was amazing. We sat at the top for 30 minutes just looking around and taking pictures.

Pfeifferhorn
5/10/2015 Via North Ridge with Lubos Pavel and Donovan Lynch. Significant amounts of new snow from the previous couple days. Very challenging route made much tougher with all the new snow. Far more of a winter ascent than some of actual winter ascents I've done this year. Descended the East Ridge and glissaded back down into Maybird.
10/9/2013 Via Red Pine.
8/4/2013 With the WMC as part of the Beatout hike. The Beatout is quite a different experience without snow. Very awesome. 10th time up the Pfeifferhorn.
6/2/2013 From Red Pine with the Wasatch Mountain Club. From the Pfeifferhorn we traversed the ridge to White Baldy. Great glissade off of the top of White Baldy. We glissaded down about 1300 feet of vert, to upper Red Pine Lake, in two shots. Blue bird day.

4/30/2013 From Red Pine. Really nice spring climb.
10/30/2012 via Maybird Gulch. Climbed the Pfeifferhorn from Maybird with a side trip along the Hogum Divide to the Obelisk. Traversed along the Hogum Divide as far as I could before dropping back down into Maybird. Gained the ridge leading to the summit of the Pfeifferhorn, at the summit cone. After summitting the Pfeifferhorn I descended by way of Red Pine Lake with a very slight detour to Little Pfeifferhorn.
9/23/2012 via Red Pine. From the Pfeifferhorn I traversed over to White Baldy. Really windy day on the ridge. Good times.

Fun, quick jaunt. To top in a couple of hours. Good views. Nice summit pyramid. Climbed the same day I flew into Salt Lake City from the east US.
