Another great peak!
Fun peak with Aiden, Avery and her BF. Nice lake at the bottom and a fun hike overall. Good first peak for me in the area as I got to see a lot of the other peaks in the area. Can't wait to go back!
Fun peak to hike with no exposure or challenging scrambling. Almost entirely class 1/2. Stay to the right of the slight gully in the last few hundred feet to get a little more class 3 and avoid the loose stuff.

Lots of snow
There was a massive snowfall over the winter and the route up was totally covered from the lake up until you hit the ridge. Good fun running down the snowfield on the way back

Such a pretty mountain. 5 hrs 30 min total time car to car. Little bit of rain last 30 min. Lots of people out this weekend. Views over to Timp were awesome. All the aspens are pretty lit up. All in all - it was not a tough as I expected.

Somehow all of my previous dates for climbs were "erased." #29 6-27-15 W/ Kevin Shumway and Yz. Also hit Little Pfeifferhorn. Have done this mountain in all 4 seasons and as part of the Beatout Hike as well. #30 8-26-16 W/ Brent (part way) and Yz. 3+41 up on a windy morning. #31 5-20-17 With WMC on the Beatout hike. 6+ hours to summit. #32. 8-17-18 w/ Lana & Brent. 4+10 up. Zero wind! #33 06-15-19 W/ Yz, Jeff & Nancy & Chris J. Still tons of snow. 5+38 up, glissades into Maybird Basin. #34 05-05-20 W/ Lana, Jim K., Akiko K., Mac B., and Phil. 5+03 up. Bluebird day. #35 07-20-2020 W/ Lana. 4+06 up. Another Bluebird day but too hot in the valley. #36 07-02-21 W/ Lana. 4+36 up. #37 07-29-22 W/Lana. 4+36 up. Bugs! #38 08-16-23 W/Lana. 4+29 up. Bugs again.

Fun HikeIt's fun. I'd recommend that when you get to the scramble you stay to the left, especially if you're on the shorter side. Poles help too.

Great MountainThis peak is awesome! Aromatic pine forests, a fun, knife-edge scramble, and a solid climb in the final push to the summit.
My only complaint was how popular the trail was--there were a lot of people out today!
