Looking across Loch Katrine at Phelps (right) and Little Phelps. Do we still have time to try the "short cut?" Note to self, Little Phelps doesn't look like a walkup from the west. Check out that notch. The USGS map calls Phelps "McClain Pks", and Little Phelps "Mount Phelps." The first error is readily acknowledged, but there is disagreement about the name of "Little Phelps."
