I have checked the fees on the following website http://www.aconcagua.mendoza.gov.ar/. I think the prices for a foreigner climbing permit have doubled over last years prices. The fees I believe are 1200ARS, 2400ARS, and 3600ARS for the low, med and high seasons respectively.

Can anyone confirm this. In the low season, March 2010, last season from memory I think i paid 600 Argentine Pesos. It seems a little strange that the prices have doubled as when I climbed it at the end of last season the officials commented that they had a low turnout that season.
