How about a Backcountry Skiing & Winter Mountaineering forum ? Telemark Tips ,a great site with almost daily updates and trip reports ,has bit the dust and so far hasn't been replaced .

Earnyourturns backcounty talk seems to have become the most viable alternative, the main site stay far more up to date than Mitch ever kept Ttips.

Would this be much different than the Technique and Training section we have? Or starting a thread in CA for current conditions? We can make new forum areas, but that particular one is not frequently used.

If others chime in an want this as well though, we can certainly make it happen.
