Rainier survival story.

Less dramatic, but not too long ago there was a guy on a ski-lift in Austria(?) who was still riding it when it closed down for the night. To attract attention he started burning the money in his wallet and throwing it down to the ground hoping people would notice. It was only when he got down to his last note that someone finally saw him.
