That Sequoia tree "that you drive through" fell down inside Calaveras S.P. -- not that I'm a proponent for carving tunnels through ancient trees ...

So, did all you guys get washed into the ocean from all that flooding?

I'm so envious. I miss the ocean ...

There are still a few you can drive through, all on California's northern coast:

JEEPERS, an avalanche has the road blocked west of Lake Tahoe.

Had planned to take my wife there skiing for our second honeymoon. Guess we gotta wait till next year.

Or, we could follow Arnold's sound advice and "GET TO THE CHOP-PA ....!"

Back on 1/5 I reported 2' in Aspendell. Since then we added another couple of feet by 1/11 including some rain that froze and made snow removal a pain. Between 1/20 and 1/23 we gained another 3' so we are well stocked with a cumulative 7'. Even after consolidation it is 6' high along my driveway.

Yea it looks awesome, a fair bit lower than when I was there 2 weeks ago. So living in Bishop you didnt escape having to shovel snow.
