I recently joined an open group (which I am the only member for now) for climbing Stok Kangri in Indian Himalayas from october 6th to october 13th with an indian expedition company: http://www.himalayanhigh.in.

It would be nice if more people joined the expedition! It's quite a high peak (6153m) but no technical skills are required. I'm doing this to finish a 5-week trip in India (my girlfriend doesn't have enough vacations to do it with me )

Hi Michael,

I recently returned from an attempt on Stok Kangri in July. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the top as I didn't acclimatise sufficiently.
I have posted an album of photos from the trek called "Trek in the land of high passes" on to SP if you are interested.
I notice you are going in October. I imagine it will be very cold then so make sure you have all your winter kit with you.
