What are your favorite Fall Hikes in the Wasatch??

I personally enjoy hiking up Bell Canyon in the fall.

Butler Fork to Circle All Peak, Mount Raymond or Gobblers Knob is great area for leaves.

I like Timpanogos (especially from Aspen Gove) as well.

Interesting, I'm planning on hitting Lake Blanche this Sunday, so it should be interesting.

I'll be romping around the Wasatch between October 25 to November 5. I was hoping to catch some nice Fall leaves then.

How are the colors turning out right now? Am I coming through at a good time, or am I arriving a little late this season?

The colors are really bright and vivid at the moment, but I don't know how they will be by the end of the month. You still have a good chance of catching them though.

The fall colors in the Wasatch are in the "beautiful and amazing" catagory right now. Sometimes it is just easier to describe in pictures rather than words.
1st picture is of Little Cottonwood Canyon

The 2nd picture is of Church Fork Peak in Millcreek Canyon

According to the NOAA forecast there is already a Winter Weather Advisory....

"SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 4 TO 8 INCHES OF NEW SNOW IS EXPECTED
SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING ABOVE 8000 FEET...
WITH THE GREATEST AMOUNTS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN WASATCH RANGE.
ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 FEET IS FORECAST FOR SUNDAY
NIGHT THROUGH LATE TUESDAY NIGHT...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
IN AREAS FAVORED BY NORTHWEST FLOW
."

The snow will ruin the fall colors out there but hey I might just be skiing this Tuesday if the forecast actually pans out. Pray for snow and keep your skis crossed out there.

P.S if you are still looking for fall colors the lower elevations such as Neffs Canyon, Lookout Peak and Grandeur Peak are in their prime still.
