Ouch! That's the harshest, most scathing literary criticism ever posted to the Internet! Calling the guy's article "trash" two times, saying he's clueless and cluttering up search engines with his drivel; saying he's a shitty writer in general, implying that he's either a complete imbecile or a pure moron, etc

Obviously Mr Colin is strangely fixated on Mt Everest. Other people collect toy trains from 1950. But...your scathing review is a "harsh toke" that will surely "harsh" Mr Colin's "buzz" for all the remainder of his years. Sheeeesh.

So you're telling this to someone who hasn't even logged in on this website for more than five years?

Why even bring it up? :?

I suspect a combination of alcohol and boredom.

You obviously must not be familiar with Larry's sense of humor!

Obviously the topic "why climb Everest?" is of interest. It's gotten 3 pages of comments so far, just on this one post! Keep writing and posting. Might post on this website before publishing elsewhere just to see if anyone makes criticisms that are legitimate.
But realize that many times the comments are smart-ass, not very nice comments. But don't give up if you get a smart-ass comment; do it like Donald Trump - when he gets a smart-ass comment he just pushes the commenters head back up their arse, and tells them to go back where they came from! :) And the media and libs go berserk, their heads explode, and Donald just sits back and watches the fireworks, laughing at their idiocy. :) Have fun with your writing just like Donald does with libs. ;)
