I've got all my crap stuffed into plastic tubs - wish I had room to display!

That's interesting, because most guys would love the chance to see my rack.

Instead of a closeting started using a pegboard and a shelving unit. Ropes, biners, jackets, bags, and many other items hang very well, and the shelving holds boots, socks, long underwear, etc.

Wow. Me thinks there to be a bit of Type-A behavior displayed in these photos. Impressive organizational skills.

Me? I've just devoted one bay of a 3-car garage to a "gear heap" piled on four shelves of a garage-style "bakers rack", side-by-side with John Deere, et. al.

When my wife and I bought our home, I reserved this corner of the basement for my beloved gear. My second favorite room in the house, after the . . . bedroom.

I'm impressed with the number of people that sort and hang their racks. I admit that I keep most of mine on my gear loop inside my climbing pack for quick departures.
