Great TR

by Bob Sihler » Thu Nov 05, 2009 4:32 pm

What this member did strikes me as the essence of mountaineering: http://www.summitpost.org/trip-report/570647/third-expedition-to-mount-sir-alexander-success-and-epic.html.

There are also a lot of great photographs that go with the climb; it would be nice to see something like them featured on the front page.

Awesome trip report of a great adventure! I forwarded it to a few of my local buddies for inspiration.

LOL! I also was wondering about that!

Also check out his profile. His 'a few words' section really hits home to me. The source is Chris himself.

Haha good one, dang I guess I asked for that.

I wish I was single so that I could do out of control trips by myself.

Thanks for clarifying.

That said, being in a relationship shouldn't prevent one from going on trips, and all trips should have the goal of coming home safely whether you are in a relationship or not.

...just my unsolicited 2 cents worth...
