Iceland

Not sure where to post this but...

I've been to Iceland before in the past, spent two weeks solo. Traveled a lot, mostly off the tourist-circuit
and even spent a couple days with some locals I met at the bar in Reykajavik.
I'm gearing up to move, selling (sold) most of my furniture, posessions, have donated some, etc. and Iceland
is where I'm looking at heading. Already starting to teach myself the language.

Is there anyone on this site who's lived there or currently does live there that could lend
advice? I've since found that because we're (United States) not within the EEA (European Economic Area),
obtaining a work visa is a lot harder, but not impossible. But...I'm not discouraged by it either.
I've already taken measures to amp up my resume (CV) in the areas I need.
I've learned a lot by reading blogs and a site geared to expats.
But I'd appreciate any advice from anyone here as well! 8)
Thanks!!!
Kiefer

Oh, I'm heading back for a week in early October to check some things out in person and talk to staff at the university.

Return to Europe
