Looks like the old Chouinard model, but lighter.

Only problem is that it's Japanese, and I have no way of buying one.

Anyone know of a Japanese climbing shop that ships to the US?

There are a number of 'agents' in Japan who are willing to act as finders for Japanese items. I am personally only familiar with those serving the automotive industry but I'm sure you can find a general purpose agent.
