I was to go to Kenya in May. Because of the troubles over there, maybe I will need a backup. Are there routes I can do ( a non Skier ) Like the PD summer routes. I want to climb such as the Wetterhorn, or even Mont Blanc. Just not sure about this time of year as its early and different snow cover......Thanks

IMHO no - May is the best "ski time" for Bernese Alps + Mont Blanc
(btw. I meet Skiers in July on Signalkuppe and in Hohe Tauern)
