Mountain Page signature photo cropping

by Klenke » Wed Apr 29, 2020 5:23 am

Ok, so for the ***teenth time, Matt, please reprogram the way signature images appear on pages.

I had to upload a new signature photo to the Clark Mountain page.

So I found one I wanted to use: this image
But when I uploaded it, the usual thing happened: the top of the mountain got cropped off and the picture got stretched. The outcome is ridiculous and I cannot believe such a visual outcome has been on summitpost for so long.

So I took the image and overexpanded the margins: Expanded image
Uploading this image and placing it as the signature image fixed the problem, as shown in the first link above.

And so, here I am griping anew: please change the code for signature image presentation. Maybe the banner method is not the way to go. Maybe you should revert back to the way it use to be by having the signature image in its own frame.
