Northeast Leaf Peeping Survey

Here in the mid-Atlantic it's shaping up to be a strange fall. Some of the maples are starting to show good color. Many other trees are just turning brown and dropping their leaves much earlier than normal. I expect this is due to the combination of no rain the first half of the summer and then 30 inches (that's not an exaggeration) the second half. What's going on with the leaves in your neck of the woods?
