I checked it out a bit earlier, it's just a bummer that a lot of the stuff is only offered in a limited number of sizes.

They always have a much better selection in the stores. Often more inventory, sometimes way more, than the January sale. Since most of my time nowadays is spent puttering around town, I'm reduced to buying clothes instead of getting out more often. Oh well, at least I look stylish.

I called the local D.C. store a few days back and I think they said the sale was only online.

No, it's at the stores as well. Usually a bit more sizes availalble at stores, but you gotta go fairly early in the sale.
I just returned from there, empty-handed. I don't think it's that big of a sale. Unless, I guess, if you got the $$ to spend and you think 40% off is good enough.

It really depends on what you're looking for. They have comfy khakis and shirts and the like that I can wear to the office. At 40% off, those items are a pretty good deal compared to what you'll pay elsewhere. I went to the store and pick up just three pieces. Saved about $100.

I'm good in performance clothing dept., which is usually the really pricey stuff anyways. But hey, if you were budgeting $200 for a new down jacket, 40% off isn't bad.

Patagonia really under-produced this season (as did most companies), hence the lack of available sizes. Still some great deals though

I just ordered me some much needed things, hence why I've been trying to make room in the closet!

Can't wait to get the down sweater hoody for $150 especially though! that's definetly a sweet price, mail can't be fast enough!

Thanks for the heads up, but college still has me dirt-baggen. I'll just patch my sweat pants and keep trekking! :D
