Portland Beer Night?

by Brian Jenkins » Thu Jan 21, 2010 6:28 am

Have emailed with a few folks and there seems to be some interest in getting together for our almost-annual winter beer night in Portland to eat, have a beer and gab/reminisce/tell lies. Anybody interested in something maybe in the next week or two? At one of the Lucky Labs? :?:

Sounds good. Good suggestion. I'm up for it. Something toward the middle or end of the week would be good for me.

could we do it the week after, like 1st week of feb...later in the week if possible?

Lucky Lab is good (great beer, alright food). My vote would be for the old one in the SE. Could also do another place, eg's:

Bridgeport Ale House on SE Hawthorne (H. & 34th or so; very good eats):

Deschutes on NW 11th:

I could not do that first week in Feb as I'll be in California for work. How about the second week of Feb so this gives everyone enough advanced notice? How about Feb 11th?

I'm open to trying a new place too, Radek. I just threw out the LL since it worked for all before. I'd love to try a different one though. What say all?

Brian, think that works for us.

Steve, you can show up if you pass the test. Ready? OK:

Do you like beer?

How about the Deschutes for the get-together? Just because we've never met there before and I think they have the best food out of the 3 places mentioned. :?:

Plus they have Black Butte Porter and Green Lakes Organic Ale. :)
