Yeah, some stuff has discouragingly long approaches for those of us with limited time to get out there. It was my first time anywhere somewhat close to there besides Brewer. If not concerned about seeing the view of Whaleback from Big Wet Meadow, some peaks in that area might be quicker to reach via other routes like Elizabeth Pass or from Big Bird area. Marvin Pass TH is an easy approach route for ultrarunners. There's so much to do way out there in SEKI that I sometimes find it hard deciding what to prioritize.
