Simkin, I'm trying to follow the logic of the argument, but I confess I'm getting a bit lost at the start. Admittedly I'm a bit tired, and I'm going to be quite embarrassed if I've missed this one, but where is the suggestion that you free solo Amphitheater Chute? This may simply be a case of people talking past one another without any points of contention genuinely at issue.

Similar to great scientists who do not read the papers they cite members of this forum do not read the threads where they post.

I have precisely asked for a low class 5 peak with a class 3/4 descent.
And you suggested Michael minaret among others. The only class 5 route listed on this site (http://www.summitpost.org/michael-minaret/151835 ) is Amphitheater chute. Which this website, not only Secor rates 5.4. I wandered about a descent route

And why would you be suggesting a class 4 route for ascent when I specifically asced for a class 5 ascent route?

I am sure an ace freesoloer like your self could get down Eichorn Pinnacle without a problem. Rule one of free soloing is that you should never climb something that you can't down climb.

Simkin, it seems to me that you like to start a thread with a question, and then turn it into an argument, if not a pissing match, with the people who answer and try to help you. You’re not the only person who has done this, but I can’t recall anyone who does it more consistently.
