Finding Ice + Being New

by ascasson » Mon Nov 20, 2017 11:06 pm

My latest endeavor is learning how to ice climb. But I live in Bend, OR, and this is not the place to seek ice...

Does anyone have some suggestions about how to get rolling in learning how to dive into some ice adventures, or know of groups in the region who tend to go - and are willing to entertain newbies?

Maybe it's more of a partner/group question, but I'm just really interested in starting and not sure the best places to look while living in the desert! Cheers!

Bend is a reasonable distance from Bozeman and/or Cody. Go there!
