New snow on Humphreys Peak?

by deungsan » Mon Feb 18, 2019 11:48 pm

Any info on whether Humphreys Peak got new snow from the current weather system?

Any guess how much might dump later in the week? Thanks.

It's getting snow by the feet. Probably will be unclimbable for a week or so afterward until it consolidates or melts. The storms are wet and cold, Arizona is getting a lot of snow.

It looked pretty white from the air yesterday. Heck, even Las Vegas got a bit of snow out of this system...

Still white ... I don't know if the OP is a skier, but they're having the best skiing in years @ Snowbowl.

Even the Nordic ski area along hwy 180 is experiencing epic conditions and good times.

The Hump is calling. Took this pic from the REI parking lot today.

Right on, and all that natural snow should last well after April.
