Climbing partner in Switzerland

by Topher Jones » Sat Oct 24, 2020 11:48 am

Hi all,

I moved from Colorado to Switzerland. I am living in Zürich and looking for somebody to enjoy some alpinism with out here in the Alps (4,000 m mountains, alpine hikes, alpine climbing, etc.). I have some good experience with glacier travel, trad climbing, ice climbing, etc., and have all the gear out here, but am just hoping to find some people to go with more regularly.

Post or PM me if you are interested.

Was thinking of next summer-if it's open to Americans.

Hi Topher,

If you are still based in Switzerland and want to team up to do some routes in the Monte Rosa Massif between 17th July - 8th August 2021, please let me know.

I can lead routes up to AD+ and have already done some 4,000 m peaks and traverses in the massif in the past.

Thanks,
Petra

Hi there!
My name is Erik, and I'm heading to Switzerland from the US for work this week with some time off next week. I saw your post here and figured I'd shoot you a message in case you're still in the area. Still researching routes, but would love to do some AD routes or climbing in the area!

Let me know if you're keen to get out, and we can chat more.

Cheers,
Erik

Hi,

Is anyone still looking for a partner? Have been mountaineering for many years in the Alps (up to AD+ / D-) and always looking for extra partners. This summer I will be up there for +/- 4 months in Jungfrau- and Monte Rosa range so happy to check if we could team up.
