Climbing guidebooks on Pyrenees and Ecrins

by alexey » Sun Apr 30, 2006 2:47 pm

I would very much appreciate any bit of advise on the subject. With regards to Pyrenees, I guess "The Rock Climbs in the..." looks like the right choice but there probably are more, aren' they? As for the Ecrins, the book referenced on SP is about AD-D routes, where does one get info on harder lines?

The problem for the election of the books of Pyrenees (in the old Sp v1 visibles in the page) is what I don't read anyone in english. All my books are buyed in the shops of Spain and are in spanish. Some of this good books had version in french but not in english. I'm sorry.
when in the old SPv1 I searched in amazon.com for the section books, I selectioned this three books according with the votes of readers:
Rough guide to the Pyrenees
Trekking in the Pyrenees
Walks and climb in the Pyrenees

With technical apreciation for rock climb I finded only the book that you say:
Rock climbs in Pyrenees

In amazon you had anothers book of interest about the great routes GR-11, GR-10 and HRP, but this book are for trekkers...

Good luck
