What's New in South America

by Haliku » Sat Jun 21, 2008 4:27 am

This format seems to work well in the other sections. With such a large region it is hard to keep track of new material. (Please excuse any translation errors.)

En español: Este formato parece trabajar bien en las otras secciones. Con una región tan grande es difícil guardar la pista del nuevo material.

Em português: Este formato parece trabalhar bem em outras seções. Com uma tão grande região é difícil guardar a pista do novo material.

I just added a trip report covering acclimatization, trekking, and mountaineering in Bolivia. It also talks about availability of local gear.

I've added a logistical center page for Huaraz. If there's any additional information you would like to add (recommendations for a restaurant, guide service, hotel/hostel, etc), please let me know.

The route page for the Northeast Face of Ranrapalca has been updated from its previous state as a copy of Brad Johnson's guidebook page. (Recently inherited the page).

I added a new route to Ojos del Salado.

Still, as the notice there states, if you have any information about any earlier climbs by this line, please contact me in order to update or change the route description.
