Best Down jackets?

I've looked at NF Nuptse and Aconcagua and like both of them, but haven't really looked at any others much. How well made are those, and Patagonia, MH or Marmot's?

okay it is not down, but synthetic insulation ...the Patagonia DAS Parka is the absolute best i have ever tried...used in the Alaska Range this spring and am absolutely hooked.
incredibly warm, water resistant fabric and unique insulation keep you warm and dry even when jacket is wet, great inner mesh pockets to hold warm water bottles, and it has a hood!!

Got the Rab Neutrino over the summer and LOVE it. Can't wait to try it out this winter up here...

Keeps me much warmer than my sub-zero, although I haven't had a chance to wear either in anything more extreme than some Sierra storms (which have been mild at best).

Oh well, just two more cents.

PHD as well as Mountain equipment and Rab makes high quality down gear.Personally i only use down sleeping bags,for besly jackets i prefer primaloft insulation.Down is mayby more suited for high altitude use where it is cold and dry.

I'll second that. It's not top of the line, but works really great for an all-rounder. Though, I sometimes wish i had the parka, but I'm kinda tall.

I have a thin-skinned light and compactable Montbell down jacket which is fairly minimalist. Have a similar synthetic but in my limited but particular adventures in summer conditions I prefer the better compaction of the down one and I like the breathability and feel versus the synthetic.

My favorite is the MONTBELL ALPINE LIGHT DOWN PARKA for any thing in the winter around Salt Lake City and WM Flight Series Jacket for fast and lite spring and fall trips. For more sirius stuff I like the MONTBELL PERMAFROST DOWN PARKA. I think for the quality of the down Montbell is a great price.

I personally use down products from a polish brand called Cumulus.
In my opinion, this is one of the best value/money brands.

Best down jackets are made by the little known UK brand PHDesigns. Yes some of the prices are eye watering, but they have the best weight to warmth ratio on the market and you pay for what you get.

Can you even get those in US/Canada even? Don't think I've ever seen those around, but looking at pictures - looks pretty decent!
