Yeah right! And monkeys might fly out of my butt! Sportiva is notorious for abysmal "customer service." I personally know of a case where they refused to honor the warranty on a 1 month old pair of Trango S boots.

Well, they've replaced at least 3 pairs of boots or running shoes for me over the years. I offer design/materials advice regarding the problem best I can, and they've always been very accomodating. The boots in this thread appear to have been exposed to high heat too often. Wouldn't expect them to fix them, but worth asking.
