What an idyllic place! Are the fields natural, or perhaps remnants of grazing? I'm used to fields being full of spiky plants. I haven't seen that kind of terrain since NM.

Hey, me too.

Great TR Dingus. I love the coastal range this time of year.

Did you find any banana slugs?

Seeing those Grotto pics makes me a little homesick.

Did you get a chance to check on the bear crap eco-system you've been tracking while you were in the Cache Creek drainage?

As a Yolo county native, I'm super stoked on this! We used to camp up on blue ridge all the time after bouldering at the Whine Country rock or kayaking the east end of the lake. Awesome pics!

Mike, more than anything you need to do the Sonora Pass/Ebbetts Pass loop. Some of the finest, most awe-inspiring, laid-back and secret country of the Sierra. Stop and have a Murphy's Red in Murphy's on your way back through Arnold. You'll know what I mean when you get there.

  That's Mike there, posing as Jed and older now, finally happy to be making the move. See the feint smile of relaxed contentment on his face? Granny, though older, is Mike's wife, still very unhappy and ornery at being pulled away from Tx. Jethro is one of Mike's sons, with his girlfriend in the back. Both looking forward to the glamor of hollywood! The dog is wondering if there will be anything to hunt in the state of California. Good luck, MikeCa!
