I've not had any personal experience of touch screens.

But they sure must be tough.

Put on a raincoat and go take a long walk in them. Those puppies will take a few miles to break in, and no reason you can't start now. Better to start the breakin and to get used to the lacing, fit, adjustable tongue, etc. on short local hikes than to get blisters on a major climb.

I figured he had enough of giving all his money to apple, so was about to pin the screen to the wall.

I have the same boots. Very similar crampons and it was windy, snowy and "bad" weather today. Mine seemed to work fine!! Are yours defective??

i ended up going ice climbing--after doing a several mile uphill approach breaking trail in like 3 feet of powder. boots are rad

no. i slugged along the dslr and didnt take it out to take pics, too much of a pita. going to bring little point and shoot next time
